Assalamualaikum wbt
On 25th April, 2018 – remarkable day for us in ADLA. We launched our own mentoring programme – Women Mentoring Network (WMN) by Adla Group Sdn Bhd. I would like to extend gratitude to Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Yatimah Sarjiman – Director of Department of Women’s Development, Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development for officiating our event.
The objective of this event is basically is part of our mission to empower men and especially women to reinforced self-worthiness and confidence through a work life balance approach, with bridging knowledge with a professional structure in business and entrepreneurship with success.
We believe that this will be a platform for women to come together and be empowered in achieving remarkable feats, both in their professional and personal lives.
Mentoring is a collaborative process in which someone with greater experience (the MENTOR) offers support, guidance, and advice to facilitate learning and development of someone with lesser experience (the MENTEE)
Globally speaking, mentoring programmes with an international outlook and cross cultural aspect give women infinite options and choices worldwide, opening up narratives including women of society, ethnicity, or country.
The importance of having a mentor is often overlooked as many feel they are able to reach the top on their own.
It is our pride to see women empowered with great amount of confidence in themselves on decision making and other positions of power and influence not just in their workplace and as a professional, but also in the community and their personal lives.
It has been a proven fact that when women do well, society as a whole benefits and flourishes.
Thank you from ADLA especially from myself to distinguished guest, honorable speaker as well as participants for the unconditional support in this venture to nourish and promote lifetime education to Malaysian women nationwide.
