Let me sum up what happened two weeks back.
The conference went so well. Our distinguished speaker actually exceed our expectations and we actually happy to see everyone with huge grin leaving the hall. That’s totally priceless. I am more than glad to see the interaction and communication among the audience which we have achieve our objective.
You can really see how enjoyable it was. I am happy that it turned out so well.
Check out some photos from the event!
As I said before, the life balance and keeping the real life in balance are almost look the same. But they are totally not.
I want to share another milestone for myself. The latest issue of Malaysian Tatler has featured me and the topic shared was about my business and talking about millennial business, opportunity, advocating the work life balance.

In my article, I have shared few tips on making priorities, choosing your priorities and also to make entrepreneurial successful. One thing I rarely share is about being a good boss. As a human, we never perfect. Perfection is not belong to us, it belongs to the Almighty. But, that is what I do to establish employer-employee engagement more prominent:
a) Have an open door policy – Open door policy give more input on the behaviour as well as optimizing your employee talent. Sharing thoughts and open discussion will bring more closeness and also understand employer and employee capacity
b) Give your employees working hours flexibility – Giving flexibility to your employee means trust. As employer wants to make the staff stay longer, promoting flexibility in executing task will be one of main factor why the staff love working at the same organization even they are getting better job offer
c) Advocate work life balance – Always practice work life balance. A happy employee means loyalty and more benefits to the employer in longer run. Do suggest your staff to leave office on time and make priorities to life not work. By advocating this, you will earn more respect from your staff.
d) Coach them and give them one-to-one sessions – Human do mistake. Me, you and us. But, don’t make their mistake as a point to belittle them. Make them understand the impact and how to overcome the mistake they committed. As an employer, you also need to understand and try to make decision based on two parties. It can be emotional, but let your human touch and leadership skills working. By mistake, they learn and by coaching and consistent guide you may polish them well.
e) Challenge them, but do not micro manage – Putting a challenge means a lot to your employer. Challenge means opportunity. Emphasizing them the challenge and what they will earn will certainly make a solid foundation for them to work harder. Put them in charge but never micro manage. Micro manage means you don’t trust them. It will just bring more tension and you will only end up finding mistakes one after another. This will arise more conflict.
I hope this will give you more insights about making life better from both – employer and employee perspectives. To train a leader, you must be one.
Alhamdulillah. That’s the only word that came into my mind. I was really happy and pleased. As I am writing this, I am at the land of the down under Australia – sending my daughter off to her first year in university. Together with my mom, I am taking short break away from all the hectic week and this is definitely brilliant where I can spend more time with my super-mom and my daughter.
Life is great. Allah has been kind to me. My heart is pounding as so many exciting things coming very soon. I and my dear husband has been a great complement to each other and we are excited to foresee our golden years together will be amazing and totally young just like the day we set our eyes to each other.
Hence, I hope everyone have a good week ahead!
Barakallahu! See you again in next time
